“Expectations for the future of banking”: a study of recent trends
What will consumers be expecting their bank to deliver over the coming years? What’s their preferred way of getting in touch with their bank – and why? Joining forces with the Handelsblatt Research Institute, we’ve analysed more than 2000 people’s answers to exactly these questions and looked at the outcomes in “Expectations for the future of banking”, our study of recent trends.
The results reflect what customers want and need from their banks – insights that will feed into tomorrow’s world of finance just as much as new technologies, services and providers will. As a quick sneak preview, two out of five respondents said that the ability to speak to someone in branch will still matter to them in the future. And when it comes to retaining customers, banks will need to provide trust and security above all else.
